A REJOINDER TO JOE JIDEOFOR'S RESPONSE BY ASIKALARI OBINNA
A REJOINDER TO JOE'S JIDEOFOR'S RESPONSE TO COMRADE BIAFRA DIBOH'S OPEN LETTER TO ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNOR - BY ASIKALARI OBINNA
Dear Mr Joe Jideofor, having read Biafra Diboh’s harmless open Letter to the Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano, on the bad condition of some vital roads in his community and your response to the said letter which was filled with hateful message, I feel compelled to write to debase you for what you're - a hateful & anti progressive messenger, the kinds that Anambra people must be wary of.
Mr. Joe, i think someone has to remind you that it is not wrong to call the attention of a governor concerning the condition of a community especially when this community overwhelmingly voted him into the government house whether he has the record or not.
Mr. Joe, from your write-up that's filled with hateful contents one cannot but conclude that you have a personal grudge against our own Comrade Biafra Diboh. Your enthusiasm for anti-Umueri has really blinded you to see the importance of calling on a sitting governor to step-up his developmental campaign to Umueri community.
You mentioned that he (Comr. Biafra Diboh) is trying to re-write the origin of the Igbo nation; Yes, he is and he is not alone! People are in dark concerning the true origin of Ndigbo so the truth must be told and i know it hurts so many of your kinds.....ah, no wonder you feigned ignorance by addressing the great community of 'UMU-ERI' as 'UMULERI' but i must tell you this- UMUERI (a.k.a Okebo City) will thrive even in the midst of thousands of your kind. We Umuerians are proud to be the CRADLE OF IGBO RACE and this is INDELIBLE forever! In truth, based on your preposterous utterances enveloped with hatred and envy against the people of Umueri, giving an iota of attention to you is a complete waste of resources.
My dear Comrade Diboh and the entire members of the public, I must sincerely apologies for this regrettable display of wickedness, witch-hunting & envy against the land of Umueri and its people by one Joe Jideofor, his despicable character has given an insight of what kind of a person he is. He is well under-informed on the systems of political checks and balances between a government and the people, as well as his negligence of the significance of Umueri in the Igbo nation.
Finally, I call on all Umueri sons and daughters not to despair in the good fight of redeeming and exhibiting faith, love, unity, development, cultural and historical values that we are well known for.
Long live Umueri! Long live Anambra State!!
