The embattled Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Sunday Onyebuchi has been impeached by the State House of Assembly.
Mr. Onyebuchi's removal carried out at exactly 10.39 am was sequel to the adoption of the report of the 7-man panel that investigated allegations of gross misconduct levelled against him by 22 out of the 24 members of the House.
The Seven man Impeachment Panel includes
1. Oraekeiyi Uche Franklin- Chairman
2. Pastor Fabian Uluakanwa Oko
3. Elder Nnamdi Martin Onyemuru
4. Barr. Maxwell Ebele Eze
5. Mrs. Praise Mercy Anyim
6. Arah Okwuchukwu Perfectus
7. Dr. Anthony Iguh
Global Pilots reporters learnt that the motion to removed the Deputy Governor was moved by the House Leader, Hon. S.K.E Udeh-Okoye who moved a motion for adoption of the report . According to our Reporters, he enlightened the house that the Panel of Investigation had come up with the conclusion that the "allegations of gross misconduct levelled against Mr. Onyebuchi by the House have been proved."
