AN OPEN LETTER TO OUR OWN BROTHER AND GOVERNOR.

UMUERI YOUTH WISHES TO congratulate our brother, The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Sir Willie Obiano ( Akpokue-dike Omamballa) on the flag - off of the construction of the Anambra International Cargo Airport road Umueri, Anambra East L G A, Anambra State.

We want to appreciate your giant strides and pray the good Lord to give you more wisdom to take Anambra State to the next level.

Our own Governor, we are solidly behind you.

It is also pertinent to remind you that Udeabor - Ogeneokwuazu - Obinetiti road, Shell road, Avia ama - Ogbu-Mgbede-Nneyi road, Ama Umueri - Oche Primary school by - pass also needs to be given a likely attention so as to make Umuerians believe truly that a messiah has come to give a new facelift to the Omamballa region and Anambra State in general.

Our dear Governor, Umueri General Hospital has been an empty house without equipments in the past two decades or more. No medical /laboratory equipments. The hospital is more or less abandoned to the mercy of ants and rodents, and we the Umueri youths hereby solicit your magnanimity to be extended to this only General Hospital in the whole Omamballa region.

Our Governor, it may recalled that on the 23rd of February 2015, during the flag - off ceremony of the Umueri Airport road by your Excellency, it was observed that some write ups which was said to have been masterminded by some persons and enemies of progress claims that the Umueri Airport road is Aguleri Otuocha Umueri road. We want to refute this baseless claims and make it very clear to everyone, that the area in question is purely Umueri land which is not in dispute with any of our neighbours and does not require such claims.

The Umueri youth in its entirety has condemned this dastardly act and hereby oblige the Commissioner of Works, Mr Callistus Ilozumba, to as a matter of urgency correct such impression and documents, for such expensive joke of that magnitude will no longer be tolerated by Umueri youths. Our youths have been so peaceful and law abiding and would not entertain any act that may cause disharmony and jeopardize the already existing peace and tranquility in Otuocha and its environs.
